Landscaping!

With the exception of some nice fellows who mowed our lawn, we've never had professional landscaping services. We've done a decent job creating attractive outdoor spaces at our previous homes, but this has been a great opportunity. Working on a plan with someone who really knew his stuff was fun and seeing it all come to life has been amazing. Here are some images that just barely do it justice. The pool!

With the strangely warm weather here in October, the kids were able to swim during their fall break from school. Everyone enjoyed the water and the floaties, even Charlie (although he stayed on land, for now).

Charlie is thoroughly enjoying his new home in the country. He spends lots of time gazing out the windows. What a life!

Final Walk-through!

It's hard to believe, but the house is finished. Everything looks beautiful and we are set to move in on Monday. Hallelujah! The kiddies are headed off to college so we'll be unpacking slowly...let us know if you wanna come over and help. ;-)
