Subfloor and some windows

Today the crew began framing. Hot diggity dog! Check out our new subfloor and the garage wall with three lovely window openings. We are off and running, folks.

Oooooh...steps!

This week it looks like we got a basement floor, steps out of the basement, and other lovely details to the lower level. The ground is finally dry (and thawed) enough that lumber was delivered too! Could this mean that Monday will be the first day of framing? Stay tuned....

Interrupted by Snow

As our unseasonably warm winter nearly ended, mid-March brought us a snowstorm. My gentleman farmer hooked up the plow and did what he could to get construction back on track. Slowly but surely, they returned to the site. Here you'll see some progress on the basement and garage floor.
